The guided Magdeburg walking tour will leave directly after the last session in front of the Johanniskirche.

Boat tour on the Elbe river, Tuesday October 11, 17:30 - 18:30

On Tuesday between the conference program and the banquet, we offer a boat tour on the river Elbe that traverses the city of Magdeburg. Enjoy beautiful views on the old city of Magdeburg and it's surroundings! The boat will leave at the boat jetty "Petriförder", see the FOSBE 2016 Google map, and return there after the trip.

Boat tour participation requires a voucher that eligible participant receive with their registration badge. The boat tour is not included in the student registration.

Conference banquet and boat tour, Tuesday October 11, 19:30-23:00

The conference banquet will take place in the Park Hotel Herrenkrug, see the FOSBE 2016 Google map. Busses to the banquet location will depart from the boat landing place (boat jetty "Petriförder"). After the banquet, there are return busses to the Johanniskirche and the Domplatz. First bus is at 22:30, the last bus at 23:00. It is also possible to travel to/from the banquet location by tram: use line 4 from the city center to station "Herrenkrug".
